Sarah, please follow standard procedures, write down the names of those who did not submit the forms to you after you have announced in class that you are collecting the reply slips. Thank You. If you are shy, get Brandon to help you announce. But make sure you are the one collecting the slips, let's help each other okay. =)
NOTE: Be seated in Hall by 0815 on 28th March 2009 (Sat) for the P/VP Talk @ 0830. Proceed to classroom after the talk to meet FT or subjects teachers ONLY if your parents wish to see them.
NOTE: Students who NEEDS TO MEET the FT need to proceed to 1E4 during the time stated on the Letter/Reply Slip. Please make sure you and your parents are punctual and make sure that you are with your parents AT ALL TIMES during the MTP Day.
Areas of Improvement for class 1E4 that the FT has noticed:
Appearance/Attire: Note that School Tie must always be pulled up and tightened. I know it gets hot as the day goes by, but I'm not asking you to tighten it so tightly around your neck, all I ask for is for you to pull it up high enough so that I do not see whatever necklace you are wearing or you don't look sloppy. For a model look, please REFER to your SCHOOL DIARY. Please co-operate people, I'd also love to be more lax, but rules are still rules
Appearance: School Shoes MUST BE white, and only white.
Appearance: This is for the Girls - Please note that Hair must be tied up neatly if it is considerably long. Neat = No hair should be falling down once it is tied up. If you have a fringe, make sure that it is not so long that it touches your eyebrows or falls below it. Pin it up if you need to.
Appearance: This is for the Girls - I do not want to strands of long hair falling at the sides of your head of hair. Please Pin it up, it makes you look messy. Be nice, look and appear pleasant, not sloppy.

To help you visualize what I'm trying to get you girls to do to your hair if it is long ... here are some pictures of the acceptable way to tie your hair up in school. Look, looking neat is a style too, and it is not easy to perfect it. Looking sloppy and sleazy, on the other hand, is way too easy to do and it is what I see happening in school most of the time. Please try to be neat pupils, not sloppy one. Thank you!
As for the boys, please make sure your hair is short (not touching the collar) and if your hair is naturally messy, invest in a good gel, get your hair properly gel up if you can. I don't want you to look sloppy too. Thank You!
Last of all:
I have so far confiscated quite a number of things from some of you. Now you have been warned time and again that you cannot have such things on you or during lessons. It is WRONG, even if you think it is an innocent gesture/action. To those whose things have been rightfully confiscated, understand that the teachers (ME included) have no choice but to do this so that it shows you how serious we are in ensuring that everything is enforced in a fair manner. If your classmates know the rule and are not breaking it, why cannot you follow it too? Always remember this ... we are trying to help you by making you understand that there are always rules and regulation to ensure that the learning environment in school is conducive and productive, NOT a place where you can do what you want and disregard the other pupils who wish to concentrate during lessons. Thank You very much for the kind understanding. Look, if we respect each other, we will eventually come to a mutual understanding and things will get better between teachers and students. Hope you people understand this.
